Binge on these Finance Movies

If you are not the type who thinks reading Michael Lewis books is more 'exciting' than watching the movies based on them, be it The Big Short or Moneyball, then here is a list for your binge-watching on Finance and Investing.

Inside Job - start with this documentary style movie, on the events around GFC. Accountability is the word you will be thinking about, as the movie ends.

The China Hustle - continuing on the accountability vein, watch this to see the sheer audacity of all. Mergers, reverse mergers, non-existent due diligence etc. A great fun movie and watch out for the sharp, dark humour.

Enron, the smartest.... - round up this fraud finance movies binge, with the greatest Ponzi scheme, the Enron. This would have a great comedy if it wouldn't have been so tragic.

Boiler Room - from accountability lets move to greed, and as Gordon Gekko says...greed (movie) is good. Story of a young gambler turned broker, trying to make the easy money by selling dubious stocks to unsuspecting investors and his boss Ben Affleck in a memorable role. must watch for sales people.

Trading Places - Finish this binge-watch with this superb comedy starring Eddie Murphy, where class divide, social inequality, frauds, trading manipulation and dark humour will be served in equal measure.
